Concrete Mixer Truck Driver
About Us
Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
- Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently to deliver readymix concrete to construction sites
- Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch plant personnel and customers
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck and ensure proper function of all components
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while representing the company professionally
What Are We Looking For
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Strong focus on safety reliability and customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable operating heavy equipment in various weather and site conditions
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and communication
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to postoffer preemployment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
What We Offer
- $24.09 to $25.09 per hour
