Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing and we are looking to hire a R&D Research Associate working from our Pittsburgh PA @ Nova Place or Friendswood TX office location with a start date on or before July 10 2025.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF R&D Research Associate
The Research Associate will engage with colleagues in R&D to assist with the evaluation development and validation of clinical devices and molecular biomarkers that improve disease diagnosis prognosis and/or prediction of response to therapy. This role will spend the most time supporting the evaluation of opportunities for new clinical devices and tests and collaborating with crossfunctional colleagues to create business cases and project plans. The Research Associate will collaborate with Castles Laboratories to help design and organize experiments required for successful device and test development. Additionally this role will support Castles Data Science team through the organization auditing and interpretation of clinical research and technical data collected as part of ongoing studies and trials to develop validity and utility evidence for clinically offered and pipeline devices and tests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Requirements
- Minimally a B.S. in a scientific discipline or equivalent with 12 years of experience in clinical research and/or development environment.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency scientific creativity successful collaboration with others and independent/critical thinking skills.
- Prior experience in High Complexity testing is preferred.

TRAVEL
- 10% travel required.
SCHEDULE
- Monday Friday inoffice 5 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm exempt position working from the Pittsburgh PA @ Nova Place office or Friendswood TX office occasionally.
- Offhour work will be required to facilitate communication and meet deadlines.
