Purpose of this role:
The Engineering Assistant Intern will support the engineering team by assisting with design tasks documentation data analysis and project coordination. This role is designed to provide handson experience in a dynamic fastpaced environment where the intern will gain exposure to realworld engineering processes tools and crossfunctional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a detailoriented proactive student pursuing a degree in engineering who is eager to apply classroom knowledge to practical challenges while contributing to the success of ongoing projects.
In this position you will
Assist in the design development and implementation of engineering projects.
Handson application of engineering tools in manufacturing projects
Collaborate with other team members in problemsolving and developing solutions.
Perform tests and analyses on materials components and systems.
Prepare technical documentation including reports drawings and specifications.
Support the team in project management activities.
Conduct research and gather data to support engineering decisions.
Utilize engineering software and tools for analysis and design purposes.
The knowledge skills and abilities you will bring
Safety focus
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelors program in Engineering (Manufacturing Technology Mechanical Chemical or Robotics).
Interest in manufacturing
Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Proficiency in software such as Excel PowerPoint Word ClickUp
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience especially in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Handson experience with testing and prototyping.
Knowledge of project management and documentation tools.
