Job Description

Job Title: Front Desk Officer (3:00 PM 11:00 PM Shift)
Location: Hampton Inn & Suites Stephenville TX
Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager
Schedule: Fulltime Evening Shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM)

Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Officer for the 3 PM 11 PM shift at Hampton Inn & Suites Stephenville you are the first point of contact for our guests during the evening hours. You will provide exceptional customer service handle checkins and checkouts efficiently manage guest inquiries and ensure a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt courteous checkin and checkout services

  • Manage room reservations cancellations and modifications via the property management system (OnQ experience is a plus)

  • Answer phone calls respond to guest inquiries and handle guest requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean organized front desk area

  • Verify guest identification process payments and handle cash and credit transactions securely

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and resolve guest concerns

  • Handle minor guest complaints or escalate to management when necessary

  • Complete endofshift reports and daily audit tasks as required

  • Comply with hotel security safety and brand standards at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred

  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment and stay calm under pressure

  • Basic computer literacy; experience with hotel property management systems preferred

  • Must be reliable punctual and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
