MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Roving position) Rancho Cucamonga CA

Lewis Apartment Communities a division of one of the largest privately owned Real Estate developers and Property Managers in the nation currently seeks an EXPERIENCED Maintenance Technician for a fulltime position roving between two Lewis communities.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential apartments common areas and facilities.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC plumbing electrical and appliance systems.
- Perform painting carpentry and drywall repairs as needed.
- Assist with apartment turnovers and ensure units are in top condition for new residents.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and equipment.
- Collaborate with the property management team and fellow maintenance staff.

- Moving and transporting heavy objects as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the public by speaking/reading/writing English.
- Proven experience in residential maintenance preferably in upscale apartment communities.
- Strong knowledge of basic maintenance including drywall repair plumbing electrical and appliance troubleshooting. HVAC experience is a big plus.
- Basic carpentry and painting skills.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for oncall and emergency maintenance as needed.
- Valid drivers license and auto insurance are required (for electric golf cart operation in CA.).
