Our client is looking to hire a Maintenance. Our client is a large family oriented company that is focused on manufacturing different component parts while also handling welding assembly metal spinning. They have cut cost for numerous customers that has put the company on a growth track for several decades.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities ranging from general building maintenance to complete disassembly/repair of machinery and complex devices.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Some formal posthigh school training in machinery maintenance electricity hydraulics pneumatics etc.
3 years stamping press maintenance experience.
Previous experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms preferred.
Ownership of basic tools to perform maintenance duties.
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical prints.
Valid Drivers License required.
Job Responsibilities/duties:
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities
Strong working knowledge of electronics and working with and troubleshooting PLC programs.
Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in medium voltage electrical circuitry plumbing hydraulics pneumatics mechanics welding (MIG) fabrication machine drives and controls and the discipline of lockout/tagout.
Good communication with the maintenance team and production associates and Supervisors.
Be able to operate Manual Mills and Lathes.
General Building Maintenance
Physical Demands:
Frequent bending stretching and prolonged standing.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
Hand eye coordination and manual dexterity.
