THE ROLE:
The Expert Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role works with more advanced and multi/complex systems proactively troubleshoots systems works with mechanical electrical diesel equipment conditions conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.

Usually works with minimal supervision
Works independently and has ability to lead/coach/guide/motivate
Perform data collection and input for operational tracking
Conduct light maintenance activities including fixing small leaks and changing oil in pumps
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Ensure continuous operation of the water treatment facility maintaining both quality and quantity standards
Manage email correspondence and perform general administrative duties
Compile operational data into customerfacing reports
Utilize digital data analysis programs to monitor and optimize performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 to 7 years of technical work experience
Industrial or commercial process water experience preferred
Technical military background preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
Preferred: industry specific license such as Water Treatment license A B C or D
Capable of obtaining a CDL class A or B with applicable endorsements
Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC DISA etc.)
Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
Must have customer service experience
Electrical mechanical diesel fusion experience depending on business unit
Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways
