Job Description

Job Description and Responsibilities

At EVRAZ North America we manufacture engineered steel products for rail energy and industrial end markets at six production sites located in the USA (Portland Oregon; Pueblo Colorado) and Canada (Regina Saskatchewan; Calgary Camrose and Red Deer Alberta). We are the largest North American producer by volume in the rail and large diameter pipe markets and we hold leading positions in the Western Canada oil country tubular goods small diameter pipe and West Coast plate markets.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills to support our USA Operations. This position will be a key member of our Transactional Services Team by performing daily monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.

EVRAZ is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe healthy and injuryfree environment. It is required for all jobs.

  • Distribute daily Cash Sheet received from Treasury to the team based on business unit

  • Review daily Positive Pay exceptions from various bank accounts

  • Execute weekly payment run and report final numbers to Treasury

  • Review and submit Vendor Change Requests

  • Reconcile Vendor statement issues and Customer Accounts

  • Train new team members

  • Enter printed checks in the appropriate bank portal

  • Test department procedures

  • Post subledger to general ledger

  • Monitor invoices on hold

Requirements

  • 35 years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables ideally a combination of both

  • Strong communication skills ability to communicate effectively with our Vendor and Customers

  • Excellent computer skills including Oracle Excel and Microsoft Word

Compensation

  • $65000 $72000 annually
