Role description:
Arcadis is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer or Construction Engineer to provide support on environmental demolition and remediation projects. This position will be based in Southern California (Los Angeles CA Irvine CA) and will require extensive regional and country wide travel.
Arcadis Construction Services (ACS) specializes in delivering environmental remedial construction solutions as a General Contractor/Construction Manager (GCCM) with significant selfperform capabilities. ACS helps clients address challenges related to asset disposition liability transfer environmental reserves and regulatory compliance while maintaining their business commitments and corporate reputation. By implementing engineering solutions ACS mitigates contains or removes pollutants from soil water and air to restore contaminated sites to safe and environmentally sound conditions. Key activities include building containment structures installing treatment systems and excavating contaminated soil ensuring regulatory alignment and sustainable outcomes for clients. By combining engineering construction and environmental expertise ACS provides comprehensive solutions for complex remediation projects ensuring safe sustainable and efficient outcomes.
You will be responsible for assisting in managing significant construction projects construction planning and field support. This position requires the ability to work independently comfortable in a construction environment and willingness to be in the field 90% 100% of the time. If your career goal is to become a construction manager this position will give you thorough understanding and experience working on construction sites this is not an office based/design focused role. Extensive travel is required overnight travel is 2week rotations on average. If you have hesitation about travel this role may not be a good fit.
The role sits within our global business area Resilience Environment. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. The hiring start for this position will be in summer of 2025.
Role accountabilities:
This is a fulltime opportunity for a dynamic candidate looking for career growth in construction services. In this role the candidate will assist with managing daytoday activities on large construction/remediation includes project planning and costing professional interaction with clients preparing field repots and communicating staffing needs.

The ideal candidate is interested in building a career in construction highly organized and detailoriented mechanically inclined problem solver and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required for field reports and spreadsheets in the field.

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $68640 $90877 / year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
