Job Description
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and use data to adjust instruction as needed.
- Help students build confidence social skills and lifelong learning habits.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning styles and abilities
- Create a positive inclusive classroom culture that supports growth and independence.
- Collaborate with educators service providers and families to deliver wraparound support.
Requirements
- Prior History working in an educational setting.
- At least a Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution (Master s preferred).
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or a related role.
- Valid Illinois PEL with an LBS1 (Special Education) endorsement (no other certifications accepted).
