Job Description
Location: Eureka CA 95501
Contract: 13-week
Shift: Night Shift 4x10-Hour (04:00 AM 2:30 PM)
- Perform venipuncture and capillary draws across various units.
- Collect label and transport specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the specimen collection process.
- Support laboratory operations by assisting with clerical duties and maintaining proper documentation.
- Float between similar units as needed.
- Experience: Previous hospital or acute care experience required. Pediatric experience preferred.
- Certifications: Must hold appropriate phlebotomy certification (state and/or national).
- Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work night shifts weekends and holidays as needed.
