Job Description
Electrical Designer Level 1 & 2
Location: Wilsonville AlabamaExperience Level:110
Education Requirements:-
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Design or a related field (required)

Bachelors degree is a plus
The Electrical Designer will support electrical design efforts by collaborating with engineers and crossfunctional teams to develop system layouts schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial building and automation applications. This entrylevel role requires strong proficiency in CAD software a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to contribute to design projects in a highly organized and detailoriented manner.
Key Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with project teams to understand electrical design requirements and objectives

Develop electrical layouts schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software (AutoCAD Revit SolidWorks Electrical etc.)

Design electrical systems for industrial machinery building systems and automation projects

Select and specify electrical components equipment and materials
-
Ensure all designs comply with applicable electrical codes standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. NEC IEEE)

Assist in code reviews and design updates

Work with engineers architects and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into broader project designs
-
Identify and resolve designrelated issues providing innovative and compliant solutions
-
Create and maintain organized project documentation including drawings specifications and bills of materials (BOMs)

Prepare technical documentation for project deliverables

Perform quality checks and peer reviews of electrical designs to ensure accuracy and completeness
-
1 10 years of experience in electrical design or a related field
-
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or SolidWorks Electrical
-
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and design practices

Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC IEEE)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to highquality deliverables

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Experience with PLC programming and control systems is a plus

Ability to build effective relationships with plant personnel engineers and vendors
