Job Description
Title: Power BI Architect
Location: New Jersey or Raleigh NC
Duration: Longterm Contract

We are seeking an Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience specializing in Power BI Snowflake and Property & Casualty Insurance. The ideal candidate will excel in data modeling DAX and Azure Analysis Services contributing to insightful data solutions. This hybrid role requires expertise in Power BI and SQL to drive impactful business decisions in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze business requirements ensuring data solutions align with organizational goals.
Utilize Power BI Service to publish and manage reports ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders.
Implement advanced data modeling techniques in Power BI to optimize data structures and enhance performance.
Leverage Mash Up Language in Power BI to transform and clean data ensuring highquality data inputs for analysis.
Apply DAX functions to create complex calculations and measures enabling detailed data analysis and reporting.
Integrate Azure Analysis Services to support scalable and efficient data processing and analysis.
Utilize MS Excel for data manipulation and preliminary analysis complementing Power BI capabilities.
Design and implement database queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards particularly in the insurance sector.
Provide technical support and training to team members enhancing overall data literacy and capabilities.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve data solutions.
Contribute to the companys mission by delivering datadriven insights that enhance decisionmaking and operational efficiency.
