JOB SUMMARY
The Estimator will be responsible for conducting all measuring duties for a specific retail store territory. This role will conduct measuring for all types of flooring systems. The selected candidate must always be cognizant of company margin. Must possess a reliable means of transportation. Must always provide exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct in home or business customer visits for the purpose of measuring floors
- Generate measurements using custom measuring tools
- Create and exhibit a sense of ownership
- Ensure customer satisfaction
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School Diploma GED or one to 12 months of related experience training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Knowledge of the flooring industry preferred
