Are you passionate about building highperformance scalable Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) products that support Amazons current and future growth Are you excited to invent newer and simpler ways of building solutions leveraging AI/ML and automation If yes we have a challenging position in Amazon Finance Technologys GRC team for you.
Amazon Finance Technologys GRC team seeks a Software Development Engineer who can help create the next generation of distributed scalable GRC systems. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts that are typically defined in realtime. We need someone to design and develop services that facilitate global GRC processes and provide holistic insights across the organization.
As a Software Development Engineer in the GRC team you will solve various technical challenges and build highly scalable solutions to address unique problems for worldwide GRC teams. You will work on big data problems leveraging AWS services design enterprisescaled systems develop and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services. You will tackle challenging novel situations daily leveraging AI/ML and automation to drive innovation in areas such as Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Automated Risk Management with AI/MLDriven Assessment Approval and Mitigation Global & Conversational Search UX for Holistic GRC Insights Smart Editor and more.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
