As a Geek Squad Technician for health devices youll be responsible for installing configuring troubleshooting and packaging health devices for vendors based on client need. Youll clean disinfect test and ship devices for our thirdparty vendors and at times their patients. If youre able to work with flexibility and adaptability while performing multiple roles in a changing environment this is the right role for you.
What youll do
Perform basic electronics repair with or without support such as triage testing functionality troubleshooting and completing systems updates such as firmware/bios
Grade parts and technology; identifying and reporting all nonconforming materials devices and accessories
Inspect reprocessed kits by cleaning disinfecting visually inspecting and functionality testing all devices
Document all required activities during cleaning disinfecting inspection and functionality testing
Complete and maintain required certifications and wear appropriate equipment in respective workstations
Basic qualifications
6 months of experience diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing technology products
6 months of experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Able to stand and sit for long periods of time
Able to work in a fastpaced environment while remaining organized
Able to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation
Able to multitask and demonstrate strong attention to detail
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience working in a logistics or similar environment
6 months of experience with Best Buys proprietary systems or other related systems
6 months of experience working in a quality management system environment
