The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) Bureau of Water is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the PreConstruction Unit Manager of the Infrastructure Financial Assistance Section (IFAS). The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and be willing to utilize innovative ways to guide staff within the Section to meet the present and future demands of the infrastructure funding programs. They will lead the PreConstruction Unit; the successful candidate for this position will frequently represent the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and Bureau of Water at various levels explaining policies to state federal and local governments industry public interest groups and stakeholders. This individual should also possess the knowledge and experience to initiate and establish policies standards and procedural guidelines for IFAS operations.
