Eatons ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Entry Level Assembler (2nd). The hourly rate for this position is 18.66/hour 5% shift premium per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
HOURS: 2:30PM 10:30PM

What youll do:
Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures and wearing proper PPE Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton Quality standards and systems
Assemble small and large components to form subassemblies or completed assemblies using hand tools air tools rivet guns operate the base robot and sub assembly machines. Build devices per drawing routing and work instructions
Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
Conduct inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of parts
Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration mounting locations and clearances required.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area
Crosstrain new and current employees on all assembly lines
Position Criteria:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools
Ability to work overtime as needed
Work with various groups of employees in teambased environment cross train on all assembly lines and help train new employees.
Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working shift
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of six months work experience
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50mile radius of work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Internal Only: Must not be on a written or a final written warning
Internal Only: Employee must complete at least 6 months in their current role before becoming eligible to apply for another position including same role on a different shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of six months experience in an assembly related role with the use of hand and/or power tools (experience in automotive repairs construction carpentry or other assembly type environments will be considered) OR a minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing military or related experience.
High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
