About the Role
Were hiring a Structural Engineer with a focus in Construction Engineering on behalf of our client a leading structural engineering firm based in Southern California. This role is ideal for a licensed engineer with deep experience in steel erection excavation shoring and underpinning design. Youll work closely with contractors on highimpact fastpaced projects while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural construction engineering projects including steel erection and shoring
- Provide oncall support for general contractors during field operations
- Oversee engineering staff and ensure quality assurance throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with contractors to deliver practical efficient design solutions
- Support client development and firm visibility through professional networks
What Were Looking For
- 812 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on construction methods
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters preferred)
- California Civil PE and SE license required
- Experience collaborating with contractors and managing teams
- Proficiency with Revit and Tekla (preferred)
- Engagement in professional associations or industry groups is a plus
