Behavioral Health Clinical Leader; LISW or LPCC

Compensation: $70000$75000

This position will travel frequently throughout OhioRise Catchment area C that includes the following counties: Allen Auglaize Champaign Clark Darke Hardin Greene Logan Madison Miami and Shelby.

Summary:

The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical quality and coordination of care for youth that are served by NYAP. This position is responsible for clinical supervision service planning employee training and ensuring best practices are implemented in collaboration with internal teams including the CME Director and moderate care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical oversight and supervision of youth with high acuity needs maintaining indepth knowledge of individual youth care plans.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly clinical review meetings focused on group supervision treatment planning and strategy for youth with complex clinical disorders.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement child and family centered care plans that include action steps concurrent plans and discharge/transition goals.
  • Serve as a strategic leader guiding intervention plans monitoring progress and adjusting supports to meet the evolving needs of youth and families.
  • Engage and consult with the CME Director Aetna and the Medical Director ensuring timely communication and coordination across systems of care.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives including monitoring outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of clinical services provided.
  • Ensure clinical practices are aligned with NYAP standards Medicaid requirements and evidencebased care models.
  • Oversees documentation training including training on Care Plans to ensure all training provided is clinically appropriate.
  • Works collaboratively with NYAP support departments including Human Resources Finance and IT to advance program operations and outcomes.
  • Responsible for onboarding of new OhioRise Care Coordinators and supervisors to ensure new Care Coordinators and supervisors have the necessary knowledge skills and abilities to be successful in their roles. Follows up on any outstanding onboarding items including but not limited to training credentialing and OhioIDs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree in social work Counseling or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • LSW or LPC required. LISW or LPCC is preferred.
  • Two years direct supervisory experience preferably in the OhioRise program.
  • Must reside in or near OhioRise Catchment Area C which includes the following counties: Allen Auglaize Hardin Logan Shelby Darke Miami Champaign Clark Greene and Madison.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and experienced in providing staff training relevant to program operations and requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to relate to diverse groups and manage interpersonal conflict.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Regular Catchment Area C travel is required. Statewide travel occasionally required.
  • Must be open and willing to work nontraditional hours as well as assume oncall responsibilities.
  • Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background race color religion sexual orientation ability national origin or culture.
  • Skilled use of the Microsoft Office Suite software and applications.
