Overview
Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)
Location: Select Specialty Hospital Gulfport
Schedule:
7p7a 12 Hour Shifts Nights
3x 12 hr shifts a week with weekend rotation of every other weekend.
Compensation:
$15.00$18.28 per hour
Pay based on years of experience.
Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Responsibilities
- Perform services for patients including bathing using basinless bath products oral hygiene oral feeding and care of hair
- Participate in hourly rounds
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans urinals and wheelchairs
- Keep patients rooms in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3 years)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant actively enrolled RN student)
