As a Maintenance Repairman 2 you will be responsible for performing semiskilled and skilled work in several trades such as carpentry plumbing heating and cooling painting masonry and electrical at theSoutheast Youth Development Center. Your duties will include the daily upkeep and longterm maintenance of buildings and grounds in accordance with departmental and agency policies. You will also be in charge of maintaining Commonwealth vehicles ensuring their safety and cleanliness. Other responsibilities include repairing and installing doors frames furniture paneling and windows. Additionally you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs flashing and gutters as well as various flooring applications throughout the facility. Your work will also involve maintaining plumbing fixtures and steam lines for heating. In addition you will be responsible for maintaining and painting the interiors and exteriors of buildings as well as performing masonry work in connection with buildings foundations walkways and walls.
