Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Perform various inspection and quality control operations of a visual dimensional and functional nature making necessary critical observations test or completing appropriate documentation. Levels within Job Name typically indicate years of experience unique or special skill set depth & breadth of NOV product knowledge performance proficiency ability to operate multiple machines and/or the versatility of the employees skill set.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform inspections on components purchased parts and/or finished products as required.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
Review inspection records received for compliance.
Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
Prepare and coordinate NonConformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
Maintain NOV guidelines on safety quality and delivery.
Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness health and safety standards.


FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS

Supports and contributes to facility goals.
Provide feedback on process improvements cost savings and opportunities for efficiency and safety.
Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments.
Ontime attendance and timeliness.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
EDUCTATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 yrs. Knowledge of standard measurement equipment and inspection processes is preferred.
Three or more years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints.
Demonstrable experience of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office programs.
Nondestructive inspection experience preferred.
