Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add an Electrical Engineering CoOp located in our Hollis NH site.

Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer the student will learn effective brainstorming design for manufacturing prototyping and documentation as they apply their engineering knowledge to real world problems. A motivated student will thrive in Farms fastpaced environment as they participate in all aspects of the design process.

We specialize in discovering product opportunities solving complex problems and creating intellectual property to expand and protect our clients value in the market. Our expertise includes User Research Human Factors Engineering User Interface Design Industrial Design Systems Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Software) Usability Testing Pilot Production Support and Regulatory Compliance. Farm is located one hour north of Boston our unique facilities consist of a development center featuring design development assembly and test facilities and a business center located in a restored circa1740 colonial.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Work on a variety of products ranging from home health wearables to next generation therapy systems to surgical robotics.
  • Collaborate with industrial design user interface human factors software and mechanical teams to help produce successful product designs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary brainstorming sessions conceptualize investigate and develop innovative product architectures parts mechanisms and assemblies.
  • Create and support design solutions using CAD analysis software and lab equipment.
  • Procure assemble and test breadboards and prototypes to inform and refine designs as well as measure and demonstrate design performance.
  • Communicate design value tradeoffs and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Develop a personal portfolio of work that is accomplished during the CoOp assignment.

Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:

  • Electrical/ & Computer Engineering Electronic Engineering Technology or related major
  • Handson electromechanical skills wiring soldering troubleshooting
  • Fundamental understanding of electronics and physics basic circuit design skills ability to read and understand a schematic electrical build experience ability to carry out laboratory experiments document and communicate results.
  • Highly collaborative team attitude passion to learn contribute and take on challenges
  • Previous coop or internship experience highly preferred
  • Basic programming skills and ability to create a schematic and simple PCB layouts a plus!

CoOp Program Requirements:

  • Available to work 40 hours/week (inperson) for the assignment term (JulDec 2025)
  • Currently enrolled in 4year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
