Come join the winning Archangel Protective Services team! If you are a great licensed Armed Security Officer available to work under the following working conditions:
- Outdoor and vesselbased work environment on the Mississippi River.
- Seasonal deployment (June to December) with living accommodations typically provided on a floating dormitory barge.
- Shiftbased schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities:
Access control patrolling incident response and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Prior Law Enforcement Military (Honorable Discharge) Correctional Experience or Graduate of Law Enforcement or Corrections Academy
- Must pass Preemployment physical and a Physical Ability Test (PAT)
- Requirements of Physical Ability Test (PAT)
(1) Execute 19 pushups in 2 minutes.
(2) Running 1.5 miles (2.41 km) in 17:30 minutes
Requirements for the job:
- Current State Armed Security Officer License
- GED/High School Diploma
- Be able to read write speak and understand English
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have open availability
