Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and on site support to STP lead and assistant teachers
- Monitor and support the fidelity of approved curriculum and lesson planning
- Assist in maintaining classroom schedules transitions and daily routines in line with DECALs STP guidelines.
- Ensure classroom environments are developmentally appropriate and meet all licensing and STP program standards.
- Facilitate reflective practice and goal setting with teaching teams.
- Document observations provide feedback and track progress toward identified goals.
- Collaborate with Center Directors and Education Coordinators to align classroom practices with BBMA goals.
- Participate in required DECAL training and professional development sessions.
- Maintain records and submit reports as required by DECAL and Big Blue Marble Academy.
Requirements:
- Must have AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education
- AA or BA Degree in another field considered if CDA TCC or Certification to Teach Georgia PreK (T4)(T5) P5 or P8 can be provided
- Six months experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Must meet current credential requirements as outlined by Georgia PreK
- Employees are required to stand (six to eight hours daily) stoop kneel crouch crawl bend etc. while working with children.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.
