Job Description

The Opportunity: 

Were seeking a dynamic visionary Director of Marketing to lead the strategic growth and creative expression of the FisherPrice brand. This role is perfect for a brandbuilder with a proven track record of driving innovative insightled marketing campaigns that capture hearts and drive business results.

Youll oversee brand strategy global campaigns digital and social storytelling partnerships and consumer engagementall while collaborating with a worldclass crossfunctional team of designers product developers and marketers who live and breathe the magic of childhood.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Own the strategic development and create a roadmap of global brandbuilding activities across Kid and Shopper audiences
  • Lead the daytoday execution of brand strategies of the FisherPrice business managing across crossfunctional and global teams
  • Develop overarching Brand strategies for future global strategic visioning (BDO) through market analysis and stakeholder input
  • Create and execute gotomarket campaigns while meeting financial targets and key milestones in coordination with product development timelines and audience insights
  • Partner with Global Business and Consumer Insights teams to build datadriven campaign and activation strategies that convert audience data into actionable strategies
  • Lead the team in building prelaunch plans and postlaunch reporting analyzing key KPIs across platforms and assisting stakeholders in understanding key levers to drive results
  • Drive global growth by collaborating with key subsidiaries to incorporate global market needs and feedback into the brand development gain global team buyin to brand strategies across key milestones and share global best practices across teams
  • Lead management of crossfunctional teams offering strategic insights and direction while partnering on Brand activations and Franchise executions by combining key knowledge and brand strategy expertise
  • Leverage commercial excellence to set clear objectives across the entire marketing funnel from broadreaching awareness initiatives to conversiondriving campaigns.
  • Strategically develop complex brand and activation strategies for new segment launches and accelerated growth of evergreen segments
  • Oversee management of entirety of the brand budget assessing ROI against key performance metrics and determining costreduction savings to drive maximum budget impact
  • Build strong connections with leaders from various departments including Product Franchise and Commercial teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that leverage Mattels global presence
  • Own external relationships and partnership conversations with cultural consultants agencies nonprofit organizations and talent
  • Foster a collaborative creative and continuously improving environment within the brand marketing team and represent the team in highlevel meetings to convey their strategies achievements and resource needs
  • Manage and develop a team of highperforming direct reports

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For: 

  • Minimum 10 years (8 years with MBA) experience in brand marketing or consumer marketing ideally with global CPG or childrens brands.
  • A deep understanding of how to build emotionally resonant brands and campaigns that deliver measurable impact.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude seeing challenges as opportunities and translating them into actionable items.
  • Ability to drive change and results through influential leadership skills
  • Experience managing agencies creative development and gotomarket strategies across platforms.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning embracing challenges and improving themselves.
  • A love for storytelling culture innovationand of course play.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $152000 and $190000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidates work location skills and experience. Mattel offers competitive total pay programs comprehensive benefits and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
