Job Description
- Lead/manage the design team in executing/delivering structural engineering assignments and plans
- Prepare calculations charts and graphs
- Monitor work for code compliance and accepted engineering practices
- Projects include low to mid rise buildings and concrete structures
- Perform inspection/analysis of existing buildings
- Oversee development of construction drawings and design specifications for bids
- Develop proposal letter that includes technical scope and fee
- Prepare client letters and reports
- Manage projected financial budgets
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- 8 years of Structural Engineering experience
- EIT required
- PE License preferred
- Experience managing budgets
- Supervisory experience
- Experience writing proposal preferred
- Knowledge of ETABS RAM preferred
- Knowledge of Revit preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
