Job Description
The Elizabethtown College Department of English seeks an Adjunct Instructor to deliver foundational coursework in first year composition (EN100) with emphasis on information literacy the research process and revision. We seek a candidate who uses current composition pedagogy and employs active learning. The successful candidate will teach two EN 100 courses scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am10:50am and 12:30pm1:50pm. This position is for an entirely facetoface (inperson) role in a classroom at Elizabethtown College. This position will start in the fall semester (August 2025). Required Qualifications
Masters degree or higher in English Rhetoric Journalism or Creative Writing. Evidence of teaching experience including experience teaching first year composition. Evidence of experience and expertise in designing inperson and remote instruction. Ability to teach inperson sections.
