Job Description
BLUE RIDGE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Job Title: Title I Reading Aide
FLSA: NonExempthourly
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ DPS.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with studentsstaff and the public.
- Master Teachers ParaEducator Certificate or 60 hours college credit
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To contribute to effective school/public relations by prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries with students staff and the public. Promote a positive uplifting atmosphere for our school.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Small group and 1:1 instruction of academics under teacher supervision
- Assist students with assignment and assessment completion across all subjects
- Assist with behavior management and social skills instruction
- Communication and cooperation with general education teachers and parents.
- Supervision of students.
- Paperwork/documentation as requested by teachers.
- Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month position
EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the Governing Boards policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
