Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE St. Andrews Episcopal School is seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School Language Arts teacher to join our faculty beginning August 2025. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement selfconfidence and a deep love of learning. We are looking for an educator with a strong background in middle grades pedagogy a commitment to professional growth and a collaborative JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and deliver engaging missionaligned ELA instruction Serve as a Middle School advisor offering guidance and support to students and families Support individual student needs while effectively managing wholegroup instruction Collaborate with gradelevel colleagues specialists and administrators to support student success Communicate proactively and positively with families Participate in professional development opportunities Contribute to the life of the school through supervision duties and student events Support a vertically aligned curriculum through thoughtful planning and shared goals TO APPLY Qualified candidates are invited to submit a current resume cover letter application and list of not fewer than three references to Jessica Morris Head of School at This is a fulltime salaried exempt 10month position.
