8:30a5:00p / FullTime / 40 hours

Were seeking aPCC Complex Schedulerwho will work collaboratively with staff and patients to schedule complex appointments. This individual will:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs advanced and time intensive scheduling tasks to support complex surgeries and/or imaging and procedures outside of current clinic such as hospital or OP radiology center.
  • To be defined as advanced and time intensive 75% or more of the employees time must be spent completing all three of the below scheduling tasks:
  • Cases performed in an ambulatory surgery center or inpatient setting o Coordination of multiple specialties
  • Coordination of preoperation and postoperation testing/clearance May also perform the following:
  • Coordination of complex sequential treatment appointments including clinical trials and standard of care patients
  • Coordination of transplant related work up and evaluations for donors and patients Serves as the primary point of care for these patients and their families. Additional duties may include:
  • Registering or scheduling new patients and return visits
  • Scheduling ancillary appointments and imaging and procedures within their local clinic

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6 months of healthcare scheduling experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • A successful candidate will possess the following competencies and skills: Problemsolving ability; Ability to provide a high level of customer service; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to work in a team environment; Time management skills; Empathy for others.
