This position is situated on the Medicaid Children and Family Policy unit which writes administrative rules (OAR) directs coverage policy directs provider enrollment and provider billing policy issues guidance leads rate setting and provides subject matter expertise and FFS program leadership for the following areas within OHP: Early and Periodic Screening Diagnostics and Treatment (EPSDT); School Based Health Services; and Young Adults with Special Health Care Needs (YSCHN).
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate grant activities for OHAs Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal grant award: Statewide Implementation of Oregon SchoolBased Health Services including training technical assistance and billing guidance to increase enrollment claiming reimbursement and access for students.
This position will coordinate grant projects; oversee the implementation of project activities; coordinate with other agencies including OHA contractors and Oregon Department of Education (ODE); develop agendas and meeting schedules; conduct meetings; coordinate training and technical assistance; respond to and support technical assistance requests from education agencies; design and direct the gathering tabulating and interpreting of required data for grant reporting requirements; track overall program evaluation; and ensure necessary reports and documentation are submitted to CMS. This position will also work directly with Medicaid enrollment and billing teams to ensure the Medicaid billing system (MMIS) is set up to streamline enrollment and reimbursement for education agencies (EAs) as billing expands across the state.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration. All internal and external candidates must meet MQs to apply for this Limited Duration. Internal candidates may apply for this as a rotation opportunity even if they do not meet MQs.
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of professionallevel evaluative analytical and planning work.
Example: A Bachelors Degree in Business or Public Administration Behavioral or Social Sciences Finance Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professionallevel evaluative analytical and planning work.
