Job Description:
This position is responsible for supporting and enacting all L3Harris corporate policies including the protection of L3Harris intellectual property. This is a multifaceted role for which the ideal candidate will possess a general knowledge in the discipline of Industrial Security and Physical Security. They will be knowledgeable on U.S. Government Physical Security Regulations to include ICD705 construction principles for SCI spaces and SAP spaces Open Storage areas and other Collateral area requirements. General knowledge will extend to Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) Access Control Systems (ACS) Video Surveillance (CCTV) GSA approved locks Secure Area compliant doors and door hardware proper perimeter wall composition perimeter penetrations (Electrical Mechanical other) TEMPEST standards.
As a Sr. Associate the ideal candidate will have midlevel knowledge of working in classified areas and dealing with such a level of information with the intent of protection within compliancy standards. The ideal candidate will have project management skills by ensuring that all activity stakeholders are properly informed on activities to be done project documentation is properly organized and ready to be presented to leadership for review. Superb customer service and negotiating skills with experience building and presenting Construction Security Plans (CSPs) Preconstruction and final Fixed Facilities Checklists (FFCs) or equivalent documents producing accurate TEMPEST checklists construction progress slides and any other relevant documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Interact with crossfunctional teams to ensure minimum program impact.
- Be ready to hit the ground running with new tasks and use professional judgement to structure path to task success.
- Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices processes and approaches.
- Create and/or maintains continuity books and procedures for Physical Security
- Make improvements in processes systems or products.
- Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
- Manage large complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
- Serve as facilities liaison for restricted areas and issue and track access badges for multiple locations.
- Prepare and maintain Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) in accordance with customer guidelines.
- Occasionally assist with classified courier duties requiring SCI clearances
- Understanding of DD254 security requirements and clauses.
- Physical security duties include but are not limited to combinations access control systems alarm accesses secure area modifications and buildouts.
- Responsible for adhering to L3Harris corporate policies on protecting intellectual property PII protection Insider Threat and other such policies.
- Must be willing to travel to support customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret/SCI US Security Clearance
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Top Secret/SCI with Poly US Security Clearance

- Working knowledge of NISPOM security requirements and various DCSA Information Systems (JPAS NISS and DISS at minimum)
- Experience with implementing and enforcing complete central management in access control systems such as SIMS.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
