Job Description

Cooler Together Charts principal focus is the design and fabrication of cryogenic equipment; so thats how we got our Cooler By Design tagline. With our recent acquisition of Howden were also Stronger Together. Customers dont come to Chart with an equipment specification they come to Chart with a challenge. Thats where you come in because someone has to figure it out all the way from conceptual design to installation and commissioning of equipment at site. The Janitor will clean the factory and restrooms on daily basis. May clean offices once a month on a scheduled basis.

What Will You Do
Cleans factory by running power sweeper down main aisles.
Empties trans cans and wastepaper baskets into carts and unloads into compactor.
May sweep scrub and wax office floors and First Aid Room once a month on a scheduled basis.
Manually sweeps miscellaneous areas. Also cleans aisle railings when required.
Polices outside area of the plant periodically.
Puts up and takes down plant postings.
Does lunchroom cleanup.
Sweeps all stairways.
Maintains clans and blows out sweeper daily.
Checks trash to make sure that all materials are sorted properly.
Trained for safe handling of blood borne pathogens.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
The incumbent works indoors in a welllight factory atmosphere. Average noise exposure exists. Has some exposure to cleaning solutions. Bending pushing pulling and lifting 050 lbs. When lifting over 50 lbs. two people are required.
There is some pushing pulling and bending associated with the regular job duties.

Your Experience Should Be...
The individual who performs this job must receive a limited amount of onthejob training.
The incumbent must have sufficient knowledge and ability to:
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Must knowbasic math reading and writing skills
- Must have at least 4 months of directly related experience.
- Must have the ability to understand and follow simple instructions.
- Must keep an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies.
