There is an open position in the Georgetown Public : Teacher Elementary 35LOCATION: Penn Brook Elementary SchoolSUPERVISOR: PrincipalANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per Georgetown Education Association DATE: start of the 2025/2026 School Year (August 2025)WORK YEAR: 184 days the school year & professional development daysIDEAL CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate should:Be energetic motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the grade level team a strong background in the content area Be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative experience in working with middle school students in a public school setting preferredAble to take direction from subject SupervisorAble to assess students and effectively plan instructionPossess excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to successfully collaborate with communication interpersonal and organizational skills are a REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree required Masters Degree in Massachusetts as Elementary 16 REQUIREDKnowledge of curriculum frameworks or Wit & Wisdom curriculum preferred not necessaryKnowledge of MCAS preparationSALARY & BENEFITSPer agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Education for health insuranceContractual sick days and personal days
