Your Role at Baxter
Responsible for Supply Chain Fulfillment and ThirdParty Logistics (3PL) supplier management for US. Provides daytoday management and supports execution of strategic direction through management of operational activities processes and data/information and systems. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that optimize service improve profitability and support business & commercial strategies.
What youll be doing
- Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain processes tools and policies.
- Develops implements and drives daily thirdparty (3PL) management processes in support of supply chain fulfillment and business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationship with thirdparty (3PL) suppliers to optimize performance resolve issues and develop improvement strategies to sustain Best in Class performance.
- Works with order management sales & marketing product managers manufacturing suppliers distribution centers transportation and thirdparty logistics provider in support of business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationship with Planning & Deployment teams to optimize inventory costs.
- Leverage IT and analytical tools and resources to address issues and opportunities requiring decision making in support of goals and objectives.
- Accountable for enhancing service in conjunction with fulfillment goals through distribution.
- Lead and facilitate cross functional teams in support of various initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across the business units.
- Responsible to provide management with financial performance projections and proactively identifies issues impacting service.
- Responsible for financial management of 3PL activities in support of UCAN Supply Chain P&L. These duties may include budget forecast cost improvement initiatives and monthly expense management.
- Adheres to all environmental health and safety SOPs equipment policies and procedures including any department specific requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What youll bring
- Bachelors degree in Operations/Logistics or similar degree. MBA preferred.
- 5 7 years related experience.
- Strong intuition for business by understanding of all aspects of the business including inventory transportation KPIs and service levels.
- Ability to do analyze data to systematically address complex business issues and opportunities.
- Strong communications skills across all levels and geographies of the organization.
- Strong project management and problemsolving skills.
- Embraces change challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to operations and processes (VIP development & management).
- Strong negotiating skills required.
- Effective stakeholder management.
- Needs good presentation skills.

At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104000 $143000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus.
