Position Title:JOPES Manager

Location:Camp Smith Honolulu Hawaii

Security Clearance:Top Secret/SCI Required

Position Overview:

Step into a missioncritical role at the heart of U.S. IndoPacific Command. As a JOPES Manager at Camp Smith in Honolulu you wont just be managing logisticsyoull be enabling global force projection supporting realworld operations and shaping strategic outcomes across the IndoPacific theater.

This highvisibility position places you on the front lines of joint operational planning where your expertise in the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) will directly influence crisis response contingency execution and force mobility across the Department of Defense. Youll be the subject matter expert decisionmakers rely on when timing is everything and precision is nonnegotiable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute deployment redeployment and force rotation operations using JOPES as the system of record.

  • Maintain indepth knowledge of the JOPES database supporting systems ADP specs and DoDwide contingency planning procedures.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in automated planning processes including JOPES and associated execution systems.

  • Provide continuity and process improvement for command and control operations and planning procedures across USINDOPACOM.

  • Extract analyze and manage rotational and emergent movement requirements using Global Force Management (GFM) tools and JOPES.

  • Participate in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and operational planning teams supporting crisis operations.

  • Offer technical guidance to external functional teams supporting future movement planning.

  • Support the development and testing of emerging capabilities in GCCS and JOPES providing feedback as an enduser expert.

  • Assess and contribute to custom tool development for data retrieval manipulation and reporting.

  • Stay informed on evolving technologies affecting planning system applications.

  • Perform other missionsupporting duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at the time of application.

  • Demonstrated expertise with JOPES and GCCS systems.

  • Experience with DoD logistics mobility planning and joint force movement procedures.

  • Familiarity with crisis action planning GFM systems and operational deployment cycles.

  • Strong analytical communication and problemsolving skills.

  • Ability to operate in a fastpaced joint/multinational environment including shiftbased work schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting USINDOPACOM or other combatant commands.

  • Experience as a JOPES operator or administrator in a deployed or operational headquarters environment.

  • Background in software development support testing or user feedback on planning systems.
