POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Collective Impact team is at the forefront of our Foundations work to address Greater Miamis most pressing challenges by bringing together crosssector partners to accomplish bold equitable solutions as a unified force for change. The team builds powerful coalitions listens deeply to community and oversees complex and important initiatives that impact the future of Greater Miami.


Arts Access Miami is a transformative collective impact initiative uniting 25 of Miamis leading arts education organizations. AAM was created to ensure that all youth in a community from grades K12 gain access to free highquality music and arts education programs both in and out of school. Historically arts organizations work in silos and view each other as competition. While some schools are oversaturated with arts programs the school down the street lacks arts programming and support entirely.


The artlook Miami map is an interactive centralizing tool that empowers schools nonprofit organizations parents and community members to explore and discover new arts opportunities cultivate crosssector partnerships and unlock the arts assets within our community. The map visualizes where students in MiamiDade have access to arts education programming and highlights areas where coordinated investment can make a significant impact.


The Arts Education Intern will use their project management communication data analysis and community outreach skills to support several projects within our Arts Access portfolio this year.


This is a six month parttime position. Nonexempt. 1520 hours per week.


The intern will report to the Collective Impact Senior Manager.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Arts Education Intern will work closely with the Foundation to engage nonprofit organizations and schools across MiamiDade County. This role will support the initiative in the following areas:


Data Management and Analysis

  • Support profile reviews annual survey updates and data accuracy across artlook Miami. Assist with reporting tutorials and help manage incoming inquiries.
  • Support data reporting and analysis efforts helping to provide useful insights to fuel arts education access.
  • Assess training and tutorial materials and support the creation of new collateral including videos onepagers and FAQs to bolster school surveying process.

Community Outreach and Engagement

  • Conduct outreach to schools organizations and teaching artists to join or update their profiles. Help improve engagement materials and respond to community needs.
  • Review and assess existing engagement and training collateral working to update create and fill in gaps as needed.
  • Assess and create ongoing engagement training and support materials for multiple audiences to ensure optimal functionality and usability.
  • Develop a strategy to engage and conduct outreach to teaching artists in MiamiDade County to setup a profile in artlook Miami.

Event Support Assist with logistics for convenings meetings and events related to artlook Miami.


Capstone Project Develop a storytelling piece highlighting the impact of arts education data in MiamiDade.


Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience Abilities & Skills

  • An emerging professional or a graduate student pursuing a degree in arts administration data analysis education nonprofit management or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva Asana and survey platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to work across functions from data and research to outreach and event support.
  • Organized and proactivecomfortable managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative problemsolver who brings curiosity and resourcefulness to their work.
  • Passion for arts education and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion.

Bonus Points for:

  • Familiarity with MiamiDades arts or education communities.
  • Experience creating visual or digital content (e.g. videos infographics storytelling concepts).
