One of the largest privately owned Automotive Dealer Groups in West Tennessee is expanding its line of franchises and is seeking a talented professional individual with the ambition and aptitude to join our Memphis Dealer Group. JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an organized and detailed Assistant Service Manager for our largest dealership to join our team.
An automotive Assistant Service Manager must be prepared to interact on a professional level with customers and employees in a manner that builds relationships while solving problems. The management candidate should demonstrate excellent knowledge about servicing vehicles and prior experience as anautomotive service techniciancan be extremely valuable. The assistant automotive service manager must be able to use computers and other technical equipment required for research and communications. Being able to multitask in a fastpaced environment is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal state and local regulations that affect their operations.

- Interacting with and managing a staff of technicians
- Leading our service management & reconditioning activities
- Interacting with external vendors
- Fulfilling all service activities needed to meet or exceed operating plan goals
- Implementing and maintaining effective reconditioning processes and flows
- Effective vehicle production and inventory control
- Managing technician productivity
- This is a handson working position
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong communication skills to deal with customers employees and vendors.
- Validdrivers license with clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of automotive technical and automotivecustomer service experience
- Experience with implementing structured business processes
- A hardworking cando attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills
