Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare servicesto theMissouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a fulltimeNurse Educator (RN) to join our team at MO Regional Officelocated inJefferson City Missouri.
The Nurse Educator isresponsible for developing coordinating and tracking orientation annual training and competency requirements for healthcare staff based on training and accreditation requirements specified by the MODOC and in conjunction with appropriate management staff in assigned region.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid RN license in Missouri
- Minimum of BSN with educational experience required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Psychiatric nursing experience a plus
- Experience in a correctional forensic or criminal justice environment preferred
- Good communication and organizational skills professional phone etiquette and accurate typing skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Must maintain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Day Shift Can be remote but will be expected to attend meetings in Regional Office. Will have up to 50% travel to educate staff at the site level across the State of Missouri.
