Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent and knowledge of medical terminology. Experience in the medical field working in hospital or outpatient clinical setting.
Preferred: Graduate of an approved medical approved program with medical terminology. At least one years experience as a registrar. Knowledge of electronic and automated insurance verification tools. Knowledge of thirdparty payer regulations and requirements. CPR

Position Summary:
Registration Specialist will minimize the financial risk of providing services by assessing the patients financial status verifying all account information computerized patient registration with EPIC scan current patients information and updated their records in both systems. Crosstrain to all clerical areas (discharge registration referrals estimates and procedures).
