We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a highpressure kitchen environment in a culinary focused restaurant. Experience with Garde Manger and Saut stations are helpful. This role involves preparation and presentation to highquality and consistent standards.
Qualifications :
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
- Manage Garde Manger duties including salads Hot and cold appetizers and soups
- Execute Saut station responsibilities maintaining timing and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Participate in menu development and daily specials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong Garde Manger and Saut skills are essential.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to take direction and a lifelong learner mentality
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
