Avida is a rapidly growing credit market company offering financial services to consumers and small to mediumsized businesses across the Nordic region. The company specializes in credit cards consumer loans and business financing with a strong focus on delivering a seamless customer experience both digitally and personally.

Since 2024 Avida has been undergoing an exciting transformation following the acquisition of the credit card business from Santander Consumer Bank in Sweden and Norway as well as the sales finance operations connected to Elkjp in Norway and Elgiganten in Sweden.

Avidas head office is located in Stockholm with additional offices in Oslo Helsinki and Stavanger. In this role youll be based in their bright and modern office on Sdermalm Stockholm working closely with colleagues from across the Nordic region.

Job Description

As an Operations Associate you will be part of a Nordic team that handles customer and partner communication loan applications and a variety of backoffice tasks. The role has a strong customer service focus particularly via phone and includes light credit handling and administrative duties. Your primary market will be Finland but you will also collaborate across regions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Respond to incoming inquiries from customers and partners via phone email and chat
  • Support customers throughout the entire loan process from application to payout
  • Conduct basic credit assessments and verify customer income and documentation
  • Administer payments insurance cases card claims and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across the Nordics

Education Experience & Personal Qualities

  • Previous experience in customer service ideally within the financial industry
  • Comfortable working in administrative systems and with structured processes
  • Experience in loan or credit handling is a plus
  • Fluent in Finnish spoken and written. Proficient in English Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
