Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a proactive customer obsessed and team oriented Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and the Technical Director of AWS Europe North. This role requires attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will be comfortable in a fastpaced fluid environment while maintaining great flexibility a sense of humor and composure. The candidate will work autonomously on many projects as required and possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.

Amazon EAs are the primary point of contact and information flow to and from a variety of teams clients and partners to our senior leaders we seek to hire and then offer continual development to the very best EAs ready to work in our fast paced customer focused organization.

We are looking for bright and motivated candidates with experience of supporting multiple executives and who can demonstrate expertise with complex diary management travel arrangements and expense recording as well as the setup budgeting and active management of small to midscale events for their teams.

Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple requests is critical. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives is imperative. A flexible approach is a must and the ability to change direction at a moments notice.

As a community the EAs work together to deliver large scale events and to share workload when priorities demand additional support commitment to teamwork is essential.

Experience with reconciling expenses
Substantial experience assisting at the executive level in a fastpaced environment
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office specifically Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
Experience coordinating and communicating using tools like Slack
Experience with domestic and international travel coordination

Senior experience assisting at the executive level
Ability to quickly learn organizational structures team objectives and adopt Amazon values and vision
Ability to handle administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
Creative approach to problem solving and event planning
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and deal with professionals inside and outside the company
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous and changing environment with composure
