What we are we looking for:
We are looking for our next Associate to join our Investment Management Real Estate team based in London!
Youll partner with Investment Managers in the asset management and oversight of various commercial real estate investments with the goal of optimizing financial performance. Youll play an integral role in developing and executing property specific strategies analyzing major leasing decisions and understanding how they impact value performing major feasibility studies and evaluating property level performance against relevant industry benchmarks.
For select assets you will be directly responsible for the daily operations and client deliverables as directed by the Investment Manager. In addition you are responsible for providing support and analysis for the preparation of the quarterly and annual property reports and budgets for a portfolio of UK Irish & Nordic assets.
Responsibilities include:
Working with Investment Managers to create property level operational strategies and analyze major leases capital projects or other investment factors impacting asset value.
Assisting in the review of valuation models (Argus and Excel) and taking part in the acquisition and disposition process overseeing the flow of due diligence information for select investments as needed.
Preparing financial analysis to track historic portfolio and property level results in comparison to industry benchmarks.
Coordinating the development of Annual Business Plans and Quarterly reports by assisting in the preparation of property operating and capital budgets and reviewing and approving ongoing financial variance reporting.
Collecting analyzing and synthesizing relevant market reports and other lease or transaction related data.
Assisting Investment Managers in creating asset level ESGR goals for each investment and work closely with third party management JV partners and outside consultants to help effectuate those objectives.
What you can bring:
A good degree (or equivalent) in Finance Real Estate Economics or a financially related subject or the jobholder is able to demonstrate equivalent academic caliber.
Experience in the commercial real estate industry (or businessrelated activity) is preferred. Property level experience is a plus.
Effective interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and listening skills.
Strong computer literacy including fluency with Argus Yardi Microsoft Excel and Word and PowerPoint.
The ability to understand and interpret lease agreements and language as well as present value concepts and financial terminology.
Analytical problem solving skills and capable to undertake detailed analyses and make wellreasoned decisive recommendations.
Demonstrated prioritization organization and time management skills necessary to balance competing deadlines.
Desire to multitask in a complex highvolume environment and competency to work with all levels of management and personnel on critical projects.
A commitment to continued education in real estate will be encouraged.
