Job Description
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $15.00 $18.70 / hour

Job Highlights:
UAB Medicine Environmental Services team members serve our patients and visitors daily by working to maintain a safe environment and helping to ensure that UAB Medicines operations run smoothly allowing our clinical providers to focus on delivering highquality patient care. Environmental services specialists provide clean patient rooms and spaces for visitors throughout the facility. These team members also use their excellent customer service skills and friendliness to contribute to our patients recovery and make their visit a positive experience. This position includes a flexible work schedule with rotating weekends and overtime may be available at times.

Job Description
To clean all areas of responsibility in patient/nonpatient areas inside/outside the hospital. Removes waste and linen polices grounds performs required cleaning functions related to transferring/discharging patients and performs other duties as assigned. Must be able to work any shift including weekends and/or holidays.
