Job Description
The Leadership Team and Governors at Darnhall Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational enthusiastic and outstanding practitioner to join our team.
The role of the 0.6 SEN teacher is temporary for 1 year based in our resource provision. This role would ideally be either 3 whole days (MonWed or WedFri) or 4 mornings and 1 full day on a Friday (a part time SEN allowance is negotiable for an experienced practitioner)

- The ability to deliver exciting and engaging learning opportunities demonstrating a thorough knowledge of how young children learn and develop.
- The ability to adapt learning to suit the needs of all learners.
- Effective behaviour management strategies.
- Good organisation time management and assessment strategies.
- A thorough knowledge of all aspects of the curriculum.
- Commitment to meeting the individual needs of the children as members of the whole school community is essential.
Competent ECTs are welcome to apply and will be well supported.

Darnhall Primary School has a resourced provision for children with social mental and emotional health needs. We are a split site school with a range of facilities and resources. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
