EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a PackingOperative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Packing Operative:
Pack parts as per customer requirementsto ensure compliance with packing specifications prepare paperwork
Ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for despatch
Updating records and inputting data using Excel and ERP systems
Identifying and reporting any issues with packing or quality control
Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
Stock control including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
Generaloperative duties within a precision engineering environment
Requirements for the Packing Operative Role:
Previous experience in despatch packing or stores within manufacturing industrial or warehouse environments
Strong computer literacy able to use Excel and ERP systems confidently
Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and report potential issues
Honest and proactive approach
Efficient and wellorganised working style
