WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and analytical Data Analyst Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship will provide handson experience in data analysis reporting and business intelligence while working towards a formal qualification. You will develop the skills to collect process and analyse data supporting datadriven decisionmaking across the organisation.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
Were looking for someone with a passion for data and problemsolving. You dont need prior experience but the following skills and attributes will help you succeed:
- A strong interest in data analytics and technology.
- Logical thinking and problemsolving ability.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- A proactive and curious mindset eager to learn and develop.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns in data.
- Basic knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet tools (desirable but not essential).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Master data management.
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Supporting datadriven decisionmaking by identifying trends patterns and insights.
- Assisting in data visualisation and storytelling to communicate findings effectively.
- Learning and applying SQL for querying and managing datasets.
- Gaining experience with data governance quality and security best practices.
- Collaborating with teams to understand business requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Documenting processes methodologies and findings for future reference.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and BI.
What you will learn
Throughout your apprenticeship you will gain handson experience and work towards proficiency in:
- Data analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Business intelligence tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar.
- SQL and database management.
- Data visualisation and reporting.
- Statistical and predictive analysis fundamentals.
- Communication and storytelling with data.
- Generalpurpose programming to support validation data cleansing and QC checks
- Agile methodologies and project management basics.
Required Qualifications
- Alevels (or equivalent) in Maths Computer Science Business or a related field are beneficial.
- Alternatively a relevant Level 3 qualification or work experience demonstrating analytical ability.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) are typically required.
